About Cindy Potter: Cindy has been freelancing as a graphic designer in
the Bay
Area for more than twelve years. Her clients return often, impressed with her commitment to budget,
schedule and creative solutions.
Cindy comes from an environmental consulting background, working as a Project Coordinator and
Graphic Designer on various environmental reports
and public outreach collateral for projects such as the Bay Bridge East Span Replacement, Hamilton
Air Force Base Rehabilitation, and UP/SP and CSX railroad mergers.
Since striking out on her own in
2000, Cindy has worked with SFPUC, Caltrans, the Bay Area Air
Quality Management District, and other federal and local entities. Cindy’s current and most recent
work largely supports infrastructure, water, and environmental
projects within the Bay Area.

Design Partner Mary Szczepanik: Mary began her design career
conceptualizing and writing copy for political direct mail, where she consulted on over thirty
winning campaigns from local tax measures to the Congressional level.
For the last three years she has been a freelance graphic designer and consultant, working with an
array of clients across a broad spectrum of disciplines. Her more recent projects include SFPUC
Groundwater and Conservation Programs collateral, San Francisco based Huckleberry Youth Programs
Annual Report and Newsletter, and a wide array of solar power advertising materials for EchoFirst
Solar.
Mary’s public agency web experience began in 2011, when she helped modernize the logo for Volunteer
and Emergency Services Team in Action (VESTIA, Inc.), which works in collaboration with the Contra
Costa County Employment and Human Services Department Volunteer and Emergency Services Program.
